CHOICE EAP understands that as positive as getting
promoted may be, learning how to work as a new supervisor is a must. CHOICE EAP
provides Supervisory training sessions to help minimize the stress of dealing
with the many issues supervisors face on a daily basis. The sessions are
designed to help the supervisor interact and learn to apply the information
being presented. The classes are maintained at a maximum of 20 participants.

Most supervisors are experienced but the work force may experience a high
turnover which creates for a difficult environment in which to work. Sometimes,
the most efficient and experienced workers are asked to carry the new or
difficult employee creating negative feelings in the workplace. More often, the
new employee is willing to work but the “we have always done it this way” forces
make the working environment difficult. We provide a variety of topics which can
help the new and experienced supervisor maximize the present workforce and
effectively carry out the task at hand.
